I had the pleasure of attending the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management's Executive Breakfast Series featuring Andy Powers, CEO of Taylor Guitars. He shared stories of his entrepreneurial journey. Andy started making guitars as a kid and followed his passion to leading one of the world's most beloved instrument brands. Taylor Guitars recently sold their company to their employees through an ESOP. Folks from the Beyster Institute were on hand to talk about that process and how it empowers employees to become owners. Andy was humble and reflective; it was a great morning!
